The XFL continues their future rebuild. As 2021 ended, the league made some major changes.

In November, the XFL welcomed Russ Brandon as President of Football and League Operations. They also announced the hiring of members of the executive leadership team.

Marc Ross was named Executive Vice President of Football Operations and Doug Whaley was named Senior Vice President of Player Personnel. This was done as they continue to build ahead of their return to play in 2023.
